Renovation of a historic school building with a modern interior climate solution
The reconstruction of the 19th century director's villa of the Podolá Cement Works, which now houses BASIS International School Prague, presented a challenge - how to combine respect for the historical heritage with high requirements for comfort, hygiene and energy efficiency.
We chose MINIB induction units that provide efficient cooling, heating and ventilation in a single unit. Thanks to the fanless principle, they operate completely silently, have a low installation height, do not restrict space and are perfectly suited for installation in ceilings - ideal where it is important to maintain a clean interior and flexibility in room layout.
In this new form, the school can continue to inspire children to explore the world - this time in an environment that is comfortable, healthy and technically advanced.
